YOU CAN DO THE FOLLOWING WHEN WE ARE CLOSED…
It is important that your Primary Healthcare needs are looked after 24 hours a day. If you need to see a GP outside the practice,our After Hours phone number is 0434 887 657 and can be accessed by patients who seek urgent attention outside our normal business hours.
If a doctor is required to visit you, there is a private call out fee of $450. Please do not ask to see a doctor out of hours unless you genuinely cannot wait until the surgery re-opens.
A list of local hospitals and after-hours care facilities are listed in this site under patient information for you to call or visit and get help.
A&E is for emergencies only. Please use your GP practice as your First Point of Contact.
Unscheduled health care is for those patients who need treatment which is not planned in advance. For serious injuries and illnesses, such as a stroke or a heart attack, patients should go to the Accident and Emergency department. For other health care complaints, such as minor injuries or ailments, patients should consult their GP PRACTICE or visit their local pharmacy for expert health advice.
